Marc and Angel Chernoff are professional coaches, full-time students of life, admirers of the human spirit, and have been recognized by Forbes as having “one of the most popular personal development blogs.” Through their blog, book, course and coaching, they’ve spent the past decade writing about and teaching proven strategies for finding lasting happiness, success, love and peace.
The goal of this blog is to give you the tools to identify and transform the limiting beliefs that keep you stuck. Currently the site contains over 800 articles on happiness, productivity, emotional intelligence, relationships, and general self-improvement, and has attracted over 200 million page views and 100 thousand subscribers since its inception in 2006.
Marc and Angel both share a great passion for inspiring others to live to their fullest potential, and they honestly feel best when they are inspiring others to be their best. They started their blog with the intention of inspiring as many people as possible, and they work passionately every day to fulfill this intention through the thoughts and ideas they share online.
Their second book, Getting Back to Happy: Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Reality, and Turn Your Trials into Triumphs, is a guide to spark sustainable action—and to return to whenever needed. Sharing never-before-published stories and strategies, the book shows how to harness the power of daily rituals, mindfulness, self-care, and more to shift our perspective—and our actions—in order to become our happiest and most effective selves. It’s available for pre-order now at Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and wherever books are sold. Watch the official trailer:
Our Thoughts and Writing
Here at “Marc and Angel Hack Life” our goal is to help YOU think better, feel better, and live better. We do our best to fulfill this goal by writing three fresh (and hopefully insightful), personal development articles every week to give you the tools you need to thrive. We promise you will not find a regurgitation of someone else’s point of view on our site. Regardless of the topic at hand, these views are our own.
This site also contains our outlook and opinions on noteworthy events and people in and around our lives. We discuss the ever-changing fluctuations in our attitude toward past decisions and future goals. Some days it feels certain that we’re headed down the right path, and other times we feel completely misplaced. It’s a continual evolution of highs and lows characterized by the balancing of family, friends, work, desires, and aspirations. Dancing around this immeasurable playground, our thoughts, dreams, and ingenuity create the groundwork for our forward drive. There’s a long string of experiences and ideas that design a lifestyle we persistently attempt to reconcile in an effort to make more significant. As we react over the past and dream about our future together, we begin to understand who we are and where we intend to go. Our life presses forth as we stumble over the balance of simplicity and extravagant ambition. “Marc and Angel Hack Life” serves as a repository of advice based on some of our life experiences.

Thank You so much I am writing this through the tears… Even though you do not know me, your smiles and acceptance has lifted me. I am facing things that are so hard for me right now and need to be a part of something that is bigger then my current circumstance. Something that is lovely… what a realization to be told that I don’t have to be perfect and I don’t have to do anything more to be me. I can attempt and fail and try again without shame and so can everyone else.
You have opened my mind with your words and I am now smiling.
All my love and gratitude,
Peter

Thank you for writing this blog. You have helped me go through the most difficult stage of my life; a divorce. There were days when I could not read your blog and then other days where the blog hit the nail on the head of me and lifted my spirits. I still have bad days but I am getting through them. Thank you for sharing your positive spirit with the world. It gives me hope that there are beautiful people out there and I will one day have them in my life.

Dear Jen,
World is full of good people. It’s just that there is a time that is known only to God when actually they cross our paths and till you find them, be the one you are desiring to meet having a firm faith in God and the hope He gives us everyday to live a better life not to forget to His tender mercies to His children to have sent people like Mark and Angel to spread the goodness through their inspirational writing and make this world a better place to live 🙂

Dear Marc and Angel,
I wish to say a big thank you for the wonderful work you are doing on your blog, for the past 2 years I have been following all the wonderful reflections on your blog and they have really helped me to see life differently. I came across your blog at a point I was almost giving up on my dreams of becoming a priest, but after reading some of your wonderful articles on not giving up, I was fired up and the hope in me rekindled and today I am almost achieving my dreams. I have also shared your reflections with friends and family who are going through one situation or the other, and today I can tell you categorically that it has really helped them. I am trying to work on something myself to help the many young people in Africa who have misplaced their priorities, in chasing their dreams, having issues of relationships and most especially having low self esteem which makes them to settle for something less than they deserve. I read your post every morning and make them part of my meditation at prayers, at least something to reflect on through the day. Once more I say a very big thank you, and greetings from my friends here in Kenya and my family back in Nigeria. Right now I am alive and living life as I ought to.
Mark

Hi Marc and Angel,
I just discovered your blog and I’ve already found a lot of TOP articles that inspired me. Your advices are well thought of, genuine and from the heart. I love reading them. I would like to make a suggestion though, it’s something you could do for people like me who just found your blog. I would like to see a list of articles that YOU think are your best ones. Those might be different from the popular ones I can see listed already. There are so many articles here that I kind of feel lost or like I’m missing out on things. 🙂 I would love to read the articles that you think are your best as some kind of starting point. What do you think? Anyway, thank you so much for the wise life lessons!

Your articles and advice give me positive energy every day. How I ever survived without your help, it seems unimaginable now.
Your words of wisdom are always close to me in printed form and a special file that fits in my backpack. I can spot negativity and bad karma now like never before. A confident choice to avoid or face difficult situations is now an option, thanks to what you have taught me.
Thank you for being my foundation heading into 2016.

Hi Marc and Angel. There are so many blogs out there on Personal Development. Many of them are very good, but I am very grateful I have come across yours. It’s the personal experience which you offer that makes a difference.
Look forward to seeing what you come out with in 2016.

I am working towards making big changes in my life. Often I feel discouraged and overwhelmed. After reading a few articles on your blog, I know I am adding the positive, upbeat thinking you share into my life.
Thank you for reminding me that my life can be whatever I want it to be, not what others think it should be. It’s taken over 50 years for me to figure out that truth.
Jen says
Hello thank you so much for all the advice and guidance. Your blog posts are inspirational and truly helpful!
