Our Thoughts and Writing

Here at “Marc and Angel Hack Life” our goal is to help YOU think better, feel better, and live better.  We do our best to fulfill this goal by writing three fresh (and hopefully insightful), personal development articles every week to give you the tools you need to thrive.  We promise you will not find a regurgitation of someone else’s point of view on our site.  Regardless of the topic at hand, these views are our own.

This site also contains our outlook and opinions on noteworthy events and people in and around our lives.  We discuss the ever-changing fluctuations in our attitude toward past decisions and future goals.  Some days it feels certain that we’re headed down the right path, and other times we feel completely misplaced.  It’s a continual evolution of highs and lows characterized by the balancing of family, friends, work, desires, and aspirations.

Dancing around this immeasurable playground, our thoughts, dreams, and ingenuity create the groundwork for our forward drive.  There’s a long string of experiences and ideas that design a lifestyle we persistently attempt to reconcile in an effort to make more significant.  As we react over the past and dream about our future together, we begin to understand who we are and where we intend to go.  Our life presses forth as we stumble over the balance of simplicity and extravagant ambition.  “Marc and Angel Hack Life” serves as a repository of advice based on some of our life experiences.

    Marc and Angel,

I found your blog on “60 simple ways to pay if forward” while doing research for a speech I am giving In Indianapolis in a few weeks. I found the information so useful that I am using it in my speech and I wanted to thank you for sharing you wisdom that I will share with others… and my hope is that some day you feel the ripple affect.

    Hi Marc and Angel!

I just wanted to let you know that I received my “1,000 Little Things” books safe and sound. Thank you so much for the lovely personal comments you took the time to write! My sister will love it, as I do.

    Thanks again,

Thank you for your refreshing comments and articles. I’m so hard on myself. If someone said to me the same things I repeat to myself silently I would hate them! I want to “re-tool” my life and take personal responsibility for doing so. But I confess I am weaker than I know. And I know that I could use some input from others. Thank you for all you do!

I love your site and have sent the link to family and close friends.

Here’s a saying that a Chinese friend told me and that I think will resonate with a lot of people.

“If you work hard when you’re young, you can play when you get older. If you play when you’re young, you’ll have to work hard the rest of your life.”

Nice to be here again. I am setting myself a challenge to read all your 600+ articles by the end of the year.

PS: I just shared your “7 Reasons You’re Not as Successful as You Could Be” with an Amazon link to your book on my blog. Hope this helps.

    Dear Marc and Angel,

What a wonderful site, and I especially loved you list of 30 things one should stop doing. I just love it! Thank you, thank you!

Lots of the life lessons have come to me just by themselves, through situations, by falling and getting up again, by facing what needed to be seen….but still, even at the age of 60 one can deepen one’s insights and love for life for sure. I can tell you that….:)

So, what will you be like when you’ve come to my age? It doesn’t take much imagination: two wonderful bright wise and open people. It actually already IS so!
